We’re back!
Catalyst on the hard
We’re resuming our blog after a far-too-long hiatus — little did we anticipate the time demands of the cruising lifestyle!
We found ourselves surprisingly busy with route planning, boat maintenance, destination research, systems management, sailing (of course!), and everyday life responsibilities — all of which took significantly longer when bouncing from country to country and tackling unfamiliar locales. Of course, we were also delightfully distracted by visits with family and friends, as well as by the amazing experiences and people we met along the way.
While we’re still eager to share our incredible journey traversing the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and up the southeast US coast during the first half of 2023, we’re restarting our blog with our return to cruising after a month+ ashore visiting family and friends in the States (Catalyst spent more than 5 weeks on the hard getting warranty work done at Zimmerman’s Marina in Matthews, VA). We’ll intersperse chapters around our amazing earlier experiences as time and inclination permits.
